We are a barbershop with a rich history and a bright future. Our journey began in 2008, when the founder, a License Professional Barber, split from his than spouse and partner. Then set out to create his own barbering business. He took the initials of their former salon, Tender Loving Care (TLC), and turned them into Tru Lyfe Kutz (2012), eventually rebranding as Alwayz Excellent Kutz (ALEX Kutz) in 2020.

In March of that year, He opened his own "Piece of The Pie" a four-chair barbershop, with the goal of leaving a legacy for his children. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and the shop had to close. But our founder was undeterred, and they moved to Maryland and began working in the legacy barber shop First Barber shop in the area, Bowie Town Barbers to continue his love and passion for his craft. 

As he continues to build his client base and hone his style of grooming, alwayz having his sights set on the future. The dream is to one day have his own parcel of land in Maryland, where he can build his own legacy by one day owning again as he continue to serve the community for years to come.
